/ /rivages
rivages is a project rooted in the act of drawing—covering and erasing—layered over various types of images. These images evoke the suggestion of fiction, a narrative, or something deeply personal, filtered through the viewer’s own gaze. Much like in a thriller novel, traces and fragments act as clues, guiding the observer toward an unresolved mystery.
What interests me is the ability to spark a narrative through real visual elements—clues taken from reality—while simultaneously prompting questions about their origin, construction, and meaning. I see this project as a story shaped by History—with a capital “H.” In other words, it is a fiction constructed from something that truly happened.
